We are a group of Catholics who pray and act to propagate the Gospel of Life and all it entails, and share the Good News of salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our origins are in St Carthage’s Cathedral Parish in the Lismore Diocese, in northern NSW, though we are no longer a part of the parish.  As is possible today through the blessings of the internet we have spread to other areas of Australia and indeed the world. We welcome any like-minded person to join us in our efforts.

Through our bi-monthly newsletter, we hope:

·      to encourage others who are involved in pro-life prayer and activity;

·      to share Catholic Church teaching about the purpose and sanctity of human life;

·      to inform on pro-life issues and how you can have an effect in promoting Catholic family life;

·      to hold retreat days or weekends for spiritual refreshment and nourishment and sharing practical knowledge;

·      to organize public meetings to hear occasional guest speakers.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT 

·      To promote the truth and beauty of Church teaching, especially the Gospel of Life, and the sanctity of all human life.

·      To inform, train and equip Catholics for pro-life activity.

·      To support married couples in their commitment to each other and to their children.

·      To nurture an appreciation for the virtue of Chastity among all people, whether single or married, heterosexual or homosexual.

·      To share with young people that sex is a sacred gift from the Creator, for the expression of love between spouses and the creation of new life.

·      To encourage the elderly, infirm, sick and disabled to become involved through the redemptive power of their suffering and their prayer.

·      To assist pregnant women and girls who are threatened by the possibility of abortion and to assist in the healing of the victims of abortion, whether mother, father, sibling, grandparent or surviving aborted child.

·      To make reparation for the sins of abortion, infanticide, contraception, euthanasia and all attacks on human life.

·      To pray for an end to abortion by the conversion of all those involved in the abortion trade.

·     To raise the awareness of attacks by anti-life forces on the poor, especially in the developing nations, through forced contraception, abortion and sterilization, as a condition of aid and trade.
