Victims of Abortion is one several organisations that have surfaced in recent years whose primary aim is healing for women who suffer severe emotional trauma after abortions. At last the terrible suffering, loss and grief is being recognised. As well, there are Project Rachel, Women Hurt by Abortion and Survivors of Abortion. All of these are run by women, each of whom has painfulIy come to terms with her own abortion/s through acknowledging her sinfulness, and throwing herself on the mercy of a loving and forgiving Father.

Anne of Victims of Abortion produces a newsletter called Broken Branches and is looking for financial support to be able to carry on her ministry to grieving traumatized women (almost 100 on a one-to-one long-term basis, plus hundreds of phone calls over three years). Sad to say, one in three Australian women will have at least one abortion in her lifetime, so there will be much work to be done in the future. Above all, Anne asks for your prayers so she will be able to carry on this very demanding work.
